At Smart City Hackathon 2015 it-professionals, business developers, scientists, students, companies, entrepreneurs and domain experts meet to develop prototypes and concepts, that can form the basis for data driven growth in business and trade.

The development within the smart city sector is mainly driven by the public sector today. There is focus on optimising infrastructure, gain a deeper level of cooperation between the public and the citizens and the creation of new business areas and innovative concepts using data.

The purpose of Smart City Hackaton 2015 is to explore the potential, and the challenges, of using open data.

We will build on a number of company and business related cases using mainly open data data from the following three domains:

  • ENERGY
  • MOBILITY
  • URBAN SPACES AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
