Kartverket and Difi is hosting a hackathon in Hønefoss, Norway on the 5th and 6th of June 2015.

# Hack4no 2015 will take place in Hønefoss, Norway, on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th June.

It is jointly organized by the Norwegian Mapping Authority and Norways Agency for Public Management and eGovernment, Difi. In parallel we are organizing a junior hack where children and teenagers can experiment, program and hack and where Minecraft will be one of the attractions.

We are inviting hackers, designers, entrepreneurs, developers, students and other creative minds, whether they work in the public or private sector, to join us in Hønefoss to “hack” in open data. Data can be found on the Norwegian open data portal data.norge.no and we hope that international open data will be used too.

# Hack4no 2015 is part of Nordic Open Data Week which is running from the 29th May to 7th June in the Nordic Countries.

Hønefoss is located about 1 hour outside Oslo. Map and practical information here (only in Norwegian).
